Application Health Score Definition

Application health score provides an at-a-glance view of the application’s health.

In the context of Avi the application health score is a computed representation of how well the application is working based on its performance, resource utilization, security and any anomalous behavior. The health score is expressed as a numerical score from 1 to 100.

How Avi Networks uses application health score to simplify operations? In Avi applications are color coded to indicate the health of an application. Green means that the health score of a particular application is between 90 – 100. Yellow means that the health score of a particular application is between 70 – 89 and there are issues that can be identified and fixed. Red means that the health score of a particular application is less that 70 and immediate attention is needed in order to fix issues that will improve the security posture and end user experience.
